Big Love Together: In The Park (IRL)

Big Love Together: In the Park

A slow, creative gathering in nature

This is a gently held gathering for those craving slower, more meaningful connection.

We’ll meet in nature, move at an accessible pace, share food, explore simple creative practices, and connect through optional conversation prompts.

No pressure to share.
No performance required.
Just space to arrive as you are.

What this is:

Big Love Together is a series of small, connection-led gatherings — bringing people together in a way that feels slower, softer, and more human.

This London edition takes place outdoors, co-created with a visual artist, and weaves together nature, creativity, and shared experience.

What to expect:

  • A slow, wheelchair-accessible stroll/roll through the park, with a pace and route designed for ease

  • Gentle breath and grounding moments

  • A guided, accessible drawing session exploring observation and mark-making

  • Shared seasonal food (included)

  • Optional conversation prompts to support connection

  • A small group (max 10 people)

You’ll leave with a set of simple drawings — not as something to “get right”, but as a reflection of your experience.

Creative session with Natalie Bignell:

The drawing session is guided by a London-based visual artist whose work explores adaptation, identity, and the experience of living with disability.

Together, you’ll be led through a series of simple exercises designed to shift how you see and create — using observation, movement, and different ways of holding and making marks.

No experience needed.

This is not about drawing well — it’s about noticing, experimenting, and expressing.

Who it’s for

This is for you if:

  • You’re craving connection, but not intensity

  • You enjoy creative or reflective spaces (no experience needed)

  • You want something slower than a typical social

  • You value accessible, inclusive environments

  • You’d like to spend time outdoors, without pressure or expectation

The feel:

Think…

  • slow pace

  • soft structure

  • space to dip in and out

  • gentle facilitation

  • nothing to prove

Accessibility:
This gathering has been intentionally designed with accessibility in mind.

This event is co-hosted with a tetraplegic visual artist, and accessibility is not an afterthought — it’s part of how the space is shaped from the beginning.

You’re warmly welcome here whether you’re joining on foot, wheels, or moving at your own pace.

If there’s anything that would support your experience, you’ll have the opportunity to share this when booking, and we’ll do our best to accommodate where possible.

This is a space to slow down, create, and connect — together.
